The structure owned by the Stefania Randazzo Foundation was acquired for EUR 7 million. The transaction strengthens the group's presence in Sardinia.
Sereni Orizzonti announces the addition to its portfolio of the RSA of Selargius, located near Cagliari, Sardinia. The facility, owned by the Stefania Randazzo Foundation, was acquired at auction this month for a value of EUR 7 million, bringing to fruition a major operation in the regional social and health care panorama.
The residence has 78 contracted beds for non-self-sufficient guests and represents one of the main healthcare facilities dedicated to the care of the elderly in the area. Thanks to its integration in the Sereni Orizzonti network, the facility will be able to benefit from high management and care standards, as well as from investments aimed at service innovation and guests' wellbeing.

Massimo Blasoni founder and owner, his Holding totally controls, among others, Sereni Orizzonti, Italy's second largest group in the construction and management of nursing homes for the elderly. A very rapid growth, more than 90 RSAs between Italy and Spain and 3,800 employees.
The growing average life expectancy and the increasing number of elderly people also demand healthcare answers. Our country has a significant deficit in terms of number of beds and quality of facilities. A new residence for the elderly in Sardinia for Sereni Orizzonti, Italy's second largest player in the elderly care sector in terms of number of beds. The acquisition of the Villa Maria Protected Residence in Quartu Sant'Elena, in the province of Cagliari, officially active from 1 September 2025.
In the region, the Sereni Orizzonti Group is present with another 7 residences operating in the provinces of Cagliari, Nuoro, Sassari and South Sardinia. In total Sereni Orizzonti operates in Italy and Spain with more than 90 facilities with a total of 6,500 beds and 3,800 employees.

Massimo Blasoni's company closed 2024 with 250 million in revenues. It is now preparing to invest 200 million in the construction of 20 new RSAs in Tuscany, Lombardy, Piedmont, Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Sicily and Sardinia.
The turnover of the SO Holding Group, of which Sereni Orizzonti is the most relevant company, reached 250 million in 2024 and is about to close the current year, projecting the results of the first half of the year to be around 300 million. Numbers that certify the group's strong growth, guaranteed by companies that, the Holding Company wishes to emphasise, have roots entirely: the ownership is 100% local, Udine to be precise, and is headed by the entrepreneur Massimo Blasoni.
