Polenta is good in every season. On Friday 12 April, the garden of the Rsa 'Belvedere' in Barga hosted the Polentari di Filecchio, a cultural association of the municipality of Barga.

After getting to know them at village fairs and festivals, the staff of the residence decided to involve the Association, creating a unique event: for the elderly residents of the facility, the polentata will be a plunge into the past, into their traditions.

'We greatly admire the seriousness and willingness shown by the polentari of Filecchio. When I thought of this initiative, I thought it would be appreciated by the guests: polenta is very good, it is easy to eat and is seasoned with excellent local products. Relatives are also invited: the aim is to create nice moments of conviviality,' said the residence's animation team.
