The last summer sunset of the year made the barbecue held at the Rsa 'Residenza San Gabriele' in Bovolenta, in the province of Padua, which celebrated the end of summer in this way, even more special.

The facility's educational service, in cooperation with the operators and management, organised a cheerful barbecue with the guests, and everyone was very enthusiastic about the much-awaited initiative.

"Our staff worked hard to realise this end-of-summer party in the facility's garden, creating a family atmosphere that was very much appreciated by our guests," says facility manager Antonella di Gioia. "It was a beautiful way to greet the end of the summer season. Thank you to everyone who participated". 

"Caring for the elderly is a job that is changing a lot," says Mario Modolo, general director of Sereni Orizzonti. "The idea that the elderly should only be cared for in their primary functions is now an outdated concept: while caring for the person remains the main part of an RSA's activities, dedicating oneself to rediscovering the interests and passions of the guest has become one of the main tasks of operators and educators in our facilities.
