Going back in time thanks to theatre is possible: the theatre group 'La Compagnia dei sogni' gave a special afternoon to the guests of the Rsa 'San Giorgio' in Marcon.

The actors of the Mogliano Veneto company staged a comedy in three acts in Venetian dialect, entitled 'El Congresso dei Nonzoli', written over a century ago by Edoardo Paoletti.

At the centre of the story are old-fashioned families, those with many children, and neighbourhood gossip, all perfect ingredients for a funny comedy. Among the props were a few period objects, such as a gramophone and a charcoal iron, which evoked many memories in the guests. 

"With this play we close the carnival events calendar"residence director Danjiela Filkovska stated. "The elderly were delighted to see our residence become a real theatre for an afternoon. I would like to thank the 'Compagnia dei sogni' for stimulating the memories of our guests with amusing family stories.".
