The extension and renovation of the 'Opera Pia Siccardi' protected residence in Spotorno, managed by the 'Sereni Orizzonti' group of Friulian entrepreneur Massimo Blasoni, is now opening.
The facility currently houses 60 non-self-sufficient, partially self-sufficient elderly and stabilised psychiatric guests. Joined to the existing one by a connecting body with floor level and roof, the new facility has 52 beds: it is four floors above ground with a T-shaped plan with irregular arms, distributed in 5 distinct residential nuclei equipped with access control to monitor the movements of residents with dementia.
On the ground floor are the reception and administrative offices, a visitors' lounge and recreation room, a rehabilitation gymnasium, a medical clinic, changing rooms for staff and a room for personal services (podiatrist and hairdresser). Tanto On the first and second floors there will be a dining room and a living room.
The facility will be operational within a few weeks. After the health authority's inspection, which was positive, Alisa's favourable opinion is awaited in order to proceed with the opening. The opening of the new beds will also have a positive impact in terms of professional spin-offs: new employees will be employed, including social workers, nurses, physiotherapists and animators. You can send your application to the e-mail address spotorno@sereniorizzonti.it.
"With this new opening, we are consolidating our presence in the region," says Mario Modolo, general director of the Friuli-based group. "Our company builds eco-sustainable residences, with all the innovations that home automation makes available and with low environmental impact solutions. This new building is very avant-garde, modern from an aesthetic and functional point of view: I am sure that in a short time it will prove to be a reality capable of responding to the many needs of the area. It is an achievement of which we are proud: we operate in a sector, the social and health sector, that plays a fundamental role in our country, as these last two years have clearly demonstrated".
The 'Sereni Orizzonti' Group is present in Italy and abroad with 80 facilities with a total of 5,600 beds. In Liguria, it is present with 4 other residences that have been operating for some time in Borghetto Santo Spirito ("Humanitas"), in Calice Ligure ("Villa Alfieri"), in Busalla ("Villa Macciò") and in Recco ("San Francesco").
