Sharing and socialising: these are the two watchwords that guided the educators of the RSA "Rapella' of Piverone and 'Gigi and Teresio Capra' of Spinetta Marengo in organising a real twinning between the two Piedmontese structures.

The day began with a walk along the lakeside promenade of Viverone, which is only a few minutes away from the Piverone retirement home.

The latter hosted the elderly from the Spinetta Marengo nursing home for lunch, and the party then continued with dancing and karaoke.

"Nice moments of sharing were created between the elderly and the staff of the two facilities. It is important to make everyday life rich with moments in which our guests can enjoy themselves and receive stimulation from the outside world. Educational activities, such as those carried out, help the elderly to connect not only with the landscape around them, but, above all, with other guests, even from other neighbouring facilities," said facility director Michelangelo Gambino.
