The warm season is a celebration for the elderly in the old people's home. In the "Giacinto Blasoni" nursing home in Risano, guests took part in a lunch together with relatives, who came to visit their loved ones for the occasion and spent a few hours with them.

Strongly desired by the facility's director and animator, the get-together organised was a success, much appreciated by the elderly and their families. "Thanks to the cooperation between all the professionals working in our facility," says Orietta Mauro, director of the residence, "we made this moment of sharing possible. The arrival of the guests' families was like a breath of fresh air".

For the Third Age, the essential aim of these activities is not to lose the stimuli for communal life and the interest in everyday events, which are the main way to continue to feel fulfilled and part of the community.
