BAKERS FOR A DAY: THE RSA OF PRATO BAKES SAN GIUSTO BREAD

Can you smell that delicious aroma? It is San Giusto bread baked by the 'Villa San Giusto' in Prato.

The guests took part in a bakery workshop, with baked schiacciatine, stuffed schiacciata, bread and more. A mouth-watering snack for everyone, guests and staff alike: even workshops like this can bring psychomotor benefits, through active gymnastics of the hands, mind and belly.

"San Giusto Bread was an opportunity to reminisce with guests about the times when their families used to bake bread at home, using the wood-fired oven. Precious and indelible memories came to mind, such as that of the 'communal' oven, where some families used to take their bread to bake. It was a magical moment: a sensory journey in its own right," said residence director Carla Bartolini.
