GRANDPA CINO LIVES IN THE NURSING HOME IN DICOMANO WITH HIS LYNX CAT AND CELEBRATES 103 YEARS: SURPRISE PARTY AND BEST WISHES FROM ALL PRESENT

An emotional afternoon in the 'Villa San Biagio' residence for the elderly in Dicomano. Mr Cino Cini, born in Radincondoli in 1920, reached the enviable milestone of 103 years of age, and all the other guests and staff gathered to celebrate this anniversary with him.

Cino had a very adventurous life. He was a prisoner of war and moved from Siena to Florence with his wife Lea for work. He started as a worker in a metalmechanical company, then after years of experience he began to deal with foreign trade relations, which led him to travel extensively throughout Europe, always for the same company. He worked until the age of 75, because he was a great figurehead for the company and 'they didn't want to send me into retirement,' he says. Before arriving at the RSA in Dicomano, he lived in symbiosis with his cat Lince, who continues to live with him even in the RSA.

The celebrations in Cino's honour were a wonderful occasion to rejoice together, and he received many gifts, which aroused strong positive emotions in him.
