THE RSA 'VILLA TUSCOLANA' IN ROME CELEBRATES GRANDPARENTS' DAY: EXCHANGE OF BISCUITS AND DEDICATIONS BETWEEN GUESTS AND GRANDCHILDREN

"Grandparents are the heritage of mankind', reads one of the dedications drawn by the guests of the Rsa 'Villa Tuscolana' in Rome.

On the occasion of Grandparent's Day, the educational service of the residence for the elderly organised a snack to celebrate the guests together with their grandchildren, extending the invitation also to grandchildren who would like to adopt a grandparent in the facility.

On the afternoon of 2 October, guests gave their grandchildren biscuits and parchments with dedications and greetings to grandparents from all over the world, made during a 'Homemade for you' workshop held at the facility in the days leading up to the celebration.

"Celebrating grandparents has a double meaning: reinforcing the meeting between generations and celebrating such a special bond," said facility director Francesca Cartisano. "It was a wonderful opportunity to spend an afternoon together with loved ones. I thank all the grandchildren who participated in the event, filling our guests' hearts with joy".
