On the occasion of World Alzheimer's Day - 21 September, the Rsa "San Giuseppe" of Follina, managed by Sereni Orizzonti, took part on Saturday 23 September in the initiative "Revine Lago Social Fest - Ricordati di me 2023", organised by the Municipality of Revine Lago, in collaboration with the Associazione Famigliari Alzheimer ODV.

In the days leading up to the event, the guests of the facility made decorations for the rest home, including a drawing reproducing the event poster, with a three-dimensional effect given by the flowers made from coloured paper. Then on Saturday, starting from the Livelet Educational Park, some self-sufficient guests, accompanied by the facility's staff, took part in the walk along the lake and the subsequent picnic lunch.

"As a facility, we fully share the objective of the event, i.e. to raise awareness of Alzheimer's-related issues and to encourage discussion on the subject. Dressing in lilac thus takes on a very important meaning," said the facility's director Gianmarco Comazzetto. "We care about the well-being of our guests and creating a convivial atmosphere for them in which to stimulate their physical and mental abilities, while also participating in the activities organised in the area.

"For the Sereni Orizzonti Group and all its facilities, 21 September, World Alzheimer's Day, is an excellent opportunity to raise awareness and provide information on the effects of this disease," said General Manager Mario Modolo. "The activities carried out inside and outside our RSAs on this day become useful moments to help provide concrete answers to the needs of sick people and their families.
