With the arrival of Carnival, celebration and comic theatre came together in Gemona's 'I Tigli' residence for the elderly. The facility for the elderly organised a show for its guests together with the 'Friulucan' actress Caterina Tomasulo, aka Catine, in the name of fun and laughter.
Born in Switzerland, raised in Basilicata and emigrated to Friuli-Venezia Giulia, where she has integrated perfectly over the years, Catine gladdened the afternoon with a show that warmed the hearts of the elderly and relatives. The guests actively participated in a show prepared especially for them: the elderly interacted first-hand with the jokes in Friulian and the numerous sketches of the show in which the actress told about herself and her characters.
The event was an opportunity for everyone to get together: relatives were also present in large numbers. Amidst crostoli and laughter, Carnival also made itself felt in Gemona.
"We thank Catine for entertaining us and bringing a show in Friulian for the elderly and their relatives. The strength of these moments creates sociability and a convivial atmosphere that everyone appreciates. Bringing comic theatre into our Rsa with an actress who is well known in the area made our Carnival really special," said Cristina Mattiussi, director of the facility.
