Have you ever thought that the way you see yourself does not always reflect how others see you?
At the Rsa 'San Giorgio' in Marcon, the 'Come io ti vedo' (How I see you) project was launched, which consists of having guests make caricatures of staff or other guests using their imagination. The project, devised by the facility's educational and psychological service, aims to give each guest the tools to express their way of seeing others through their artistic vein.
"Everyone got involved by making a portrait," said the director of the residency Danjiela Filkovska - "The funniest part was then asking the guests and staff to try to recognise themselves. A much appreciated initiative, which came from the original idea of the facility's educational service".
"Sensory stimulation is what drives the innovative organisation of all the activities carried out in the RSAs managed by Sereni Orizzonti," said Mario Modolo, general manager. "Assisting the elderly is a job that is changing a lot: the concept of caring for primary functions has definitely expanded to include caring for, for example, the artistic-sensory interests of the guests in our facilities".
