Also in 2025 Sereni Orizzonti joined the project "Father Christmas's Grandchildren", created by the non-profit organisation "Un Sorriso in Più". The aim is precisely to open the nursing homes to the community, to make the elderly guest feel less alone during the holidays, part of something big.
How does it work? Every December, by accessing the https://www.nipotidibabbonatale.it/desideri/ everyone will have the chance to turn into a Grandson of Father Christmas: simply choose a region or province and click on the wish you wish to fulfil, leaving a short message in reply. The facility operators will contact you, and together they will organise the shipment or delivery of the gift to the facility.
This year many wishes have been granted in Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto, Liguria, Sardinia, Lazio, Tuscany and Piedmont: every wish is an opportunity for happiness for a guest of Sereni Orizzonti. Special thanks go to all the Grandchildren, who with a gesture - even a small one - have brought joy, emotion and light-heartedness to the RSA.
