The summer air favoured the complete success of the barbecue held at the Alberto Dalmasso' residence for the elderly in Vinovo. The party was organised by the education service and was accompanied by cheerful music and summer dances.

After a long break due to the Pandemic, the barbecue at the RSA in Vinovo represented the very first meeting, finally all together, of elderly people and families. During the afternoon, music and dancing also brightened up the party. Given the symbolic importance of the day, the elderly guests and their families also received a visit from the mayor of Vinovo, Gianfranco Guerrini, who sang and danced with the guests.

"These moments generate emotional and psychological benefits not only for the guests, but for all those who take part in them," says Sara Reano, director of the facility. "Our guests also felt this atmosphere and it was like going back a few years. Immediately after the day spent together, it was clear how beneficial these moments are for the elderly: even if they are used to staying in the facility, the usual places look very different and special for a few hours".
