'Living the Farm' is the name of the project that was inaugurated in the 'Casa Albert' rest home in Viverone: the guests of the facility met and stroked the numerous animals present on the farm in Roppolo, including horses and chickens. The beautiful sunny day made the visit, which will be repeated on a weekly basis, a complete success.

"Staying in a nursing home leads many elderly people to social isolation, with the reduction of interactions, stimuli, visual, tactile and olfactory experiences," says Giulia Rubinato, director of the facility. "Maintaining a relationship with the outside world makes the elderly person feel that they are still part of the world, reducing the sense of marginalisation and affecting self-esteem and wellbeing, with specific effects on physical health as well.
