WORLD DAY AGAINST VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN: RED BOWS IN SERENI ORIZZONTI RESIDENCES FOR THE ELDERLY IN FRIULI

On the occasion of the World Day Against Violence Against Women, the Residences for the Elderly in Friuli displayed large red bows as a symbol of the fight against gender-based violence.

Even in the wake of recent events, showing solidarity for the feminicide of Giulia Cecchettin and all the 103 women killed in Italy in 2023, even with a simple gesture, can convey a very strong message.

The Sereni Orizzonti Group, which is also present in Veneto, joins the appeal of the Veneto Region, which has called for regional mourning. In an area where one is in daily contact with fragile people, who need care and attention, concern for social issues becomes fundamental.

"We particularly value this date. It is important to discuss these issues: that is what we have done over the past few days with our guests. The red bows outside the facilities show our adhesion and support for a very important cause,' said the directors of the residences for the elderly in Friuli.

All the other facilities in Tuscany, Emilia-Romagna, Piedmont, Lombardy, Veneto, Latium, Liguria, Sicily and Sardinia also responded to their appeal, thus forming a united front of no less than 80 residences nationwide on 25 November.
