PARTY, FLOWERS AND DECORATIONS FOR WOMEN'S DAY IN THE AULLA HOSPICE

On International Women's Day there was great joy at the 'Belvedere' residence for the elderly in Barga: the elderly residents of the facility dedicated themselves to creating some handicrafts by recreating mimosa sprigs to give to the guests and caregivers.

The handicraft workshop organised for 8 March is part of a project consisting of various initiatives aimed at training the manual and cognitive skills of the elderly and providing nice moments of conviviality and well-being for all guests.

"Stimulating our guests in practical activities, which train their skills, is a constant job," says Carmen Peigottu, director of the facility. "The anniversary also gives us the opportunity to deal with an important topic and celebrate all women. There are so many of them in the facility: from our guests to female workers. A special day, therefore, for everyone".
