At the 'San Martino' residence for the elderly in Torre di Mosto, Women's Day was a time for reflection and merriment: the guests dealt with the theme of women, dwelling on the role women play within the family, at work and in the couple itself, bringing out the differences between the past and the present.

The guests concluded the workshop with a wonderful sentence: 'On this day, women celebrate the feeling of being free'. A phrase with an important meaning, which was enclosed in greeting cards to be given to each of the guests, together with a mimosa sprig.

Fabric dolls were also made, closed with yellow ribbons and doilies of the same colour, recalling the colour of the mimosa.

"Stimulating our guests in practical activities that train their skills is a constant job," says Alessandra Natali, director of the facility. "The anniversary also gives us the opportunity to deal with an important topic and celebrate all women. There are so many of them in the facility: from our guests to our workers. A special day, therefore, for everyone".
