100 blue balloons inflated for 90 children: these are the record-breaking numbers of guests, reached by the Rsa "Humanitas" in Borghetto Santo Spirito.

For Grandparents' Day, the facility hosted many children from the "Istituto Comprensivo Val Varatella" and the "Fratelli Rosselli" School of Borghetto Santo Spirito to celebrate this special day together with their elders.

A 'living tombola' was also organised for the occasion: each child represented a number, randomly drawn by the facility staff, then marked by the grandparents on their cards. There was also a rich buffet and over 100 blue balloons inflated especially for the long-awaited party. The children also brought beautiful gifts made by them for the grandparents of the facility.

"We would like to thank the teachers and the schools 'Istituto Comprensivo Val Varatella' and 'Fratelli Rosselli' for allowing us to realise this very special generational confrontation on such a significant day for the elderly and their grandchildren," said facility director Luca Ghiglione.
