The Cra "Due Miglia" in Piacenza is preparing for autumn. The facility hosted the October chestnut party, organised by the operators and animators of the rest home. Cooking the roasted chestnuts on wood were the Alpini of the Settima Division, invited by the rest home for a special afternoon dedicated to fun in company.

The Alpini then played the accordion and sang along with all the guests, entertaining guests and relatives with music and dancing on this special afternoon.

"These types of initiatives are very important for our facility, as they allow the elderly to connect with the local realities of our area," said the director of the 'Due Miglia' residence for the elderly in Piacenza and regional contact person, Emilia Tramelli. "I would like to thank the Alpini of the Divisione di Settima and all the staff for the very successful chestnut party, and for always creating an atmosphere of sociality and serenity. For all our guests and their families, it is also an opportunity to share these new post-pandemic opening moments, in which they can show their loved ones affection and closeness".
