AUTUMN HAS ARRIVED AT THE "VILLA BIANCA" HOSPICE IN PONTE BUGGIANESE: AUTUMN DECORATION WORKSHOP WITH TREE LEAVES

Autumn is also making itself felt at the 'Villa Bianca' residence for the elderly in Ponte Buggianese, where the educational service has organised a series of manual workshops for the creation of autumn decorations to hang in the facility's communal areas.

The guests, together with the nursing home staff, collected many leaves from the trees in full autumn foliage, which are located around the nursing home. The most colourful leaves were then used to make the beard of Fingolfin, the wise gnome who will watch over the guests during the autumn months.

"It is important to make everyday life rich with moments in which our guests can enjoy themselves and receive stimulation from the outside world and nature. Educational activities, such as the ones we carry out, help the elderly to connect not only with the landscape around them, which is constantly changing, but, above all, with the other guests, which is one of the goals of all the workshops organised by the educational service of our retirement home," said facility manager Simona Cantoni.
