PROJECT

Psychiatric Communities

Psychiatric residential facilities are a resource dedicated to the treatment of patients suffering from psychiatric disorders who require therapeutic rehabilitation or health support interventions in a residential setting.

These are facilities that take in patients who cannot be cared for in their family environment, who are offenders and who have varying degrees of self-sufficiency or impaired personal and social functioning, for whom interventions in low- or medium-intensity rehabilitation programmes are effective.

Inside there is a multidisciplinary team consisting of professional educators, psychiatric rehabilitation therapists, psychotherapists and OSS, headed by a medical director.

It operates through an Individualised Educational Design aimed at care and educational support aimed at social reintegration and recovery of autonomy through psycho-rehabilitation activities.
