CHRISTMAS SONGS AND POEMS FOR THE FEAST OF SANTA LUCIA: S. NICCOLÒ PRIMARY SCHOOL VISITING THE "EMILIO FONTANELLA" CRA IN ROTTOFRENO

Christmas is just around the corner also for the Cra 'Emilio Fontanella' in Rottofreno: as tradition dictates, the second classes of the San Niccolò Primary School came to visit the facility to celebrate Saint Lucy.

Songs and dances, poems and riddles got everyone into the true Christmas spirit. Lots of sweets were given as gifts for the children, who spent a cheerful morning together with the elderly.

The feast of St Lucia was an opportunity to celebrate the arrival of Christmas. The children brought lots of colour to the residence: with their wreaths they represented red-nosed reindeer and numerous Santas.

"With the arrival of Christmas, the moments of sharing within the residence are even more special. Moments of conviviality are what our elderly appreciate the most," says facility manager Sabrina Segalini. "Meetings with school children make guests feel less lonely and cheer them up. We are always waiting for you with open arms".
