The "NonnOlympics" have started for all the Italian residences for the elderly managed by Sereni Orizzonti, second in Italy for number of beds in the senior care sector: in May and June 2025 the Group's Italian RSAs will organise two weeks of 'Olympic' games for the Third Age, entirely dedicated to motor inclusivity and fun for guests.
Following the success of the project in 2024, Sereni Orizzonti is thus relaunching the physio-educational project on a national scale, which has involved more than 6,000 guests in the regions where the Group is present. During these weeks the Sereni Orizzonti RSAs in Friuli Venezia-Giulia, Veneto, Liguria, Emilia-Romagna, Piedmont, Lombardy, Tuscany, Lazio, Sardinia and Sicily will be animated with games and psychomotricity competitions aimed at promoting sociability, physical skills and healthy competition.
In the RSA 'Istituto Geriatrico Siciliano', guests participated in various motor activities, from bowling to football, from basketball to a revisited game of chairs. The games continued with small speed competitions, lower limb motor activities and 'basket in the basket'.
