The new 'Le Ninfee' nursing home for the elderly in San Gillio will officially open on Monday, 11 December, after receiving the necessary authorisation to activate its social and health services.<\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n

The facility will be managed by 3AMilano, a subsidiary of Sereni Orizzonti.\u00a0<\/span>Born out of a private initiative, the facility will operate in agreement with the public health system and will also have excellent effects from an employment point of view: the facility will guarantee the creation of about 60 new jobs, including nurses, OSS, educators and physiotherapists. The new social welfare residence has a basement floor and three above-ground floors organised into three 20-bed nuclei and two 10-bed nuclei, for a total of 80 places. The building has a car park for visiting family members, surrounded by an equipped green area that can be used entirely on foot or with wheelchairs and walkers.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n

Like all current and future constructions, the San Gillio RSA will be a low environmental impact building with cutting-edge features in terms of eco-sustainability and energy and water saving. Built in energy class A3, it will be able to autonomously produce 170,000 kWh of energy from renewable energy sources, i.e. over 60% of its entire needs, reducing atmospheric emissions of over 127 tonnes per year of carbon dioxide, the equivalent of 850 trees.<\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n

\"After the opening of the residence in Torrazza Piemonte and the new facility in Borgo Ticino, the new opening in San Gillio represents another step in the project to absorb the very high demand for beds in the Turin area,\" says Massimo Blasoni, founder of the Group. \"We not only manage, but also build the RSAs, modern buildings with a low environmental, energy and water impact, capable of accommodating elderly people with varying degrees of self-sufficiency. <\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n
