Viva Vittoria Bergamo and Brescia<\/span><\/b> will create a special project, which will take place on 4 June 2023, on the occasion of the Capital of Culture 2023 event: an extraordinary human chain<\/b>40,000 people united by a 1.5 metre-long knitted strip will stand next to each other along the approximately 80 km route between Bergamo and Brescia.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n

The human chain will start at the same time from Piazza Vecchia in Bergamo and Piazza Loggia in Brescia, then define itself along the route: the meeting point will be on the bridge between Sarnico and Paratico, the intermediate stage of the route.<\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n

For the occasion, the old people's home \"I Mulini' in Lambrate, managed by 3AMilano<\/b>One of the two RSAs to take part in the project: about 15 elderly residents of the facility will get to work weaving the blankets that will fit inside the chain and which, joined together, will form the world's longest blanket. The blankets will then be sold and the proceeds will be used to help women victims of violence. <\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n

\"We felt it was important to participate in this event,\" states Christian Doria, facility director<\/b> - \"Guests can get involved, rediscover manual skills, all for a very noble cause. In our sector, we deal daily with fragile people, who need care and attention. The interest in social issues is therefore fundamental for those who do this work\".<\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n
