On Saturday 24 September, the first meeting of the recently launched cooperation project between the Milan Conservatory<\/b> and the I Mulini' retirement home in Lambrate<\/b>managed by the Friuli-based company 3AMilano.<\/span> The project is aimed at stimulating social inclusion, combating loneliness and contributing to the wellbeing of the community. The ultimate aim of the project is twofold: on the one hand, the improvement of the quality of life of the RSA guests, and on the other hand, the growth of the students during their formative years, through paths that bring them into contact with society and social needs.<\/span> The artistic activities involve young musicians, all students of the Milan Conservatory, at the beginning of their artistic careers, with the intention of stimulating an intergenerational dialogue between them, the guests of the RSAs, the volunteers and the health workers. An inclusive project, as already mentioned, which aims to bring classical music outside the 'traditional' venues, directly into the heart of the local community of reference, thus generating well-being for all those involved.<\/span> \"It was a very significant moment,\" says Christian Doria, residence director<\/b> - \"The first meeting received positive feedback from all the guests: they were very happy, also considering the gloomy day, about these moments of serenity. Tiziano Giudice, the star violinist of this first meeting, was very good: he presented a rich and interesting musical programme and played with great professionalism'.<\/span> The project foresees other three concert dates<\/b>one per month until December, the last of which will be the Christmas Concert<\/b>.<\/span> During each performance, the musicians involved present the musical programme<\/b> that they are going to perform, thus combining the pleasure of listening with a better knowledge of the pieces on the programme, so as to truly involve the guests of the residence in listening.<\/span> For the Conservatory Director Cristina Frosini<\/b>: \"Q<\/span>hese concerts are part of a broader programme of Third Mission interventions. In other words, the Conservatoire's students are involved in artistic activities for the benefit of communities of individuals in fragile and difficult conditions. And this is because music can never be considered extraneous to the reality that surrounds it.
