We have learnt to build our nursing homes from more than 20 years of management experience; only by managing can we fully understand the needs of the people living in the RSAs. Once the areas of need in the country have been verified and every aspect of marketing has been investigated, land is acquired on the basis of a multi-year plan. The acquisitions cover the entire country, but are mainly aimed at those areas in which it is possible to obtain an agreement with local health authorities, in order to reduce the burden of fees for families. Following the identification of the land, the project managers of the development team proceed with the preparatory activities for the construction of the buildings. The ever-increasing demand for services for the Third Age and the reduction of public resources favour partnerships between the public and private sectors. It is precisely in this perspective of subsidiarity and integration that Sereni Orizzonti has started a path that has led it to be a partner of numerous public bodies such as municipalities, regions, health service companies or social-welfare consortia, for the consultancy, design, construction and management of eco-sustainable social-health facilities.
